Research Data Management (RDM) is very diverse and complex. It consists of various components. Semantics plays one of main role in bringing all data together and ensuring interoperability. In order to describe data, metadata, etc. semantically correctly, the integration of vocabularies or ontologies is necessary.

In the Data Exploitation Methods (DEM) department, I work on the integration of vocabularies into metadata and RDM workflows. For example: creating ontologies based on vocabularies, as well as converting these vocabularies into ontologies to facilitate the ontology creation process for researchers.
