Teacher training courses
What: Mathematical modeling is a common tool in industry and research to solve real problems. Young people should therefore acquire skills in mathematical modeling and simulation already during their school years, as defined in the educational plan. This is intended to highlight the social and cultural importance of mathematics. Students should also gain an insight into how many and in which areas mathematics and simulation are used.
In the continuing education programme, concrete everyday problems are presented which can be solved with the help of mathematical modeling and the use of computers by pupils from year 8 onwards. You will receive an introduction to the use and application of our material as well as the opportunity to explore the material independently.
Who: Teachers for middle- and high-school (our materials can be used from grade 8 on)
