General information

On this page you will find information on selecting, ordering and operating mobile devices such as smartphones or other mobile hardware. If you have any questions, the list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) will help you. For mobile communication, KIT has access to a framework contract that the state has concluded with mobile phone providers for public institutions. Mobile phone contracts can be concluded, changed or terminated via the quick access.

Important: Mobile devices and smartphones are ordered decentrally via the organizational units. The SCC only provides assistance in setting up standard mobile devices (Samsung cell phone or Apple iPhone). These are described in the selection guide.


Smartphones, accessories and contracts

To select a suitable device and accessories for your application, please use this selection guide. These devices are standardized by the Client Management working group and are equipped with an eSIM card. The contract conditions of the framework contracts Baden-Würrtemberg are listed in this overview (KIT-Intern).

  • Contracts are only managed for KIT members.
  • Approval of the order and the order itself are handled decentrally in the organizational unit
