Research Interests: Controlled Vocabularies, Multilingual Ontology Matching, Digital Humanities

In my doctoral research, I focus on the reusability of domain-specific thesauri in the digital humanities. A particular focus is layed on supporting multilingual research data and creating a low-threshold approach to the development and use of these thesauri. I attach importance on user-friendliness and minimal dependence on complex IT infrastructure. To achieve these goals, I develop and apply methods for the automated integration of multiple domain-specific thesauri, known as ontology matching.
Additionally, I am interested in cybersecurity, Docker administration, and actively apply Working Out Loud methods (transparent, networked collaboration through knowledge sharing) in my daily work.
