EOSC-hub - the infrastructure project of the European Open Science Cloud
The EOSC-hub project, funded by the European Commission, will be launched in January 2018. With a budget of 30 million euros and 74 partners consisting of research infrastructures, national e-infrastructure providers, SMEs and scientific institutions, EOSC-hub is the central infrastructure project of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
One of the aims of the EOSC-hub project is to create easy access to high-quality digital services offered by the pan-European partners in an open service catalogue.
The SCC is involved in various tasks and work packages. A central task will be the management of the work package "Federation and collaborative services". The focus of this package is on the integration of federal IT services such as authentication services, service catalog services, monitoring and accounting tools and IT service management tools.
