N4W103: MSC/NASTRAN for Windows Nonlinear Analysis

Spring Element with Nonlinear Analysis Parameters (large displacements on): Import the previous model , submit for MSC/NASTRAN nonlinear analysis with large displacements option enabled and compare the results with those computed in the previous exercise.

Spring Element with Nonlinear Analysis Parameters (Multi-step Analysis): Import the previous model, apply incremental loads through multiple subcases and review the multiple subcase results.

Linear Buckling Load Analysis (without spring): Create a finite element representation of a cantilever beam in compression, without a spring and demonstrate the use of linear buckling analysis.

Linear Buckling Load Analysis (with spring): Create a finite element representation of a cantilever beam in compression, with a spring and demonstrate the use of linear buckling analysis.

Nonlinear Creep Analysis: Create the appropriate load cases for nonlinear static and nonlinear creep loads, examine the strain for each subcase and create an accurate deformation plot of the model.
