3. Total Life (S-N) Analysis of Keyhole Specimen: Learn the basics of Component Normal Stress Life Analysis and use it to calculate the fatigue life for a keyhole model.

 

4. Total Life Analysis of a Simple Bracket: Test your S-N Analysis knowledge with an exercise on a simple bracket model.

 

5. Critical Initiation Analysis of the Keyhole Specimen: Learn the basics of Critical Initiation Analysis and use it to calculate the life to initiate a fatigue crack on a keyhole model.

 

6. Crack Initiation Analysis of a Plate Assembly: Test your Crack Initiation Analysis knowledge with an exercise on a plate assembly model.

 

7. Fatigue Analysis of a Hinge: Conduct a Fatigue Analysis on a hinge model.

 

8. Crack Growth (LEFM) Analysis of the Keyhole Specimen: Study the crack growth behavior of the SAE keyhole model.

 

9. Fatigue Analysis of a LUG Assembly: Use all three methods of Fatigue life estimation to design the lug assembly.

 

10. Additional Exercises: Present additional challenges to the examples listed above.
